To celebrate Barack Obama winning the presidency, will.i.am created a new song and video - so confident of Obama winning, he started two days before the election. This channel features events leading up to and including musical performances and coverage of inauguration events in Washington, DC.

K'Naan
Growing up, two sides of Somalia- that of ruthless terror and that where a poem can inspire peace and end wars, informed musician/emcee K’NAAN Warsame, whose sophomore album Troubadour was released in January 2009. The grandson of Haji Mohamed, one of Somalia’s most famous poets, and nephew of famed Somali singer Magool, the emcee is creating his own musical path through reggae, funk, pop, soul and, above all, hip-hop.

Since 2006, the year Kero One released his debut album Windmills of the Soul, Kero One has been awarded the title of Best HipHop Album of 2006 from Reeemix magazine, topped iTunes hiphop charts, received positive reviews from the likes of Urb and Spin magazine, and toured all over the world. In 2009, Kero One presents his official sophomore album, early believers. This is an album that bounces between soulful jazz tinged tracks to upbeat synth-driven party bangers showcasing Kero One’s growth and maturity as a writer, composer, vocalist and arranger.
Nomad Two Worlds
Nomad Two Worlds was inspired by the Australian reconciliation movement (initiated by Australian prime minister Kevin Rudd’s apology speech in February 2008) between its modern western culture that settled there some two hundred years ago and its Aboriginal people, the world’s oldest surviving culture. The exhibit includes sweeping, multimedia art conceived by Australian contemporary art and acclaimed fashion photographer Russell James and inspired and co-created by Indigenous Australian artists, highlighting the work of Clifton Bieundurry.
Peapod Foundation
The Peapod Music and Arts Academy was launched by the Black-Eyed Peas' Peapod Foundation and Peace4Kids on January 17, 2008, at the Watts/Willowbrook Boys & Girls Club. This cutting-edge arts school sponsored by the Black Eyed Peas caters to disadvantaged and foster kids aged 13-19 in South Central Los Angeles. Accomplished media makers and performers lead hands-on classes and industry field trips designed to free inspiration, hone skills and connect talent to employment.
Take Our Planet Back
To spread the word on environmental concerns and prompt action, will.i.am created a new song, co-written by George Pajon, and video, co-produced by Mike Jurkovac, to drive people to seek out information and determine what they can do to help our planet. The lyrics are inspired by topics in Al Gore's moving speech.
The Bangerz
Fingerbangerz are six DJs who complement each other's individual strengths and styles. 'Goldenchyld is all of us rolled into one, he's like our representative,' explains Cutso, rattling off how each member deepens the crew's chemistry.' Ngobility is all hustle, he's our businessman. Replay is our most productive producer, and G-Wrex is a smooth operator who's also our toughest critic. And Squareweezy's a showman; he's bad and is 100 percent attitude, or as we call it, 'bad-itude' (laughs).' Fingerbangerz crew celebrate 10 years with gig as new permanent DJs for the Jabbawockeez dance crew.
The Partysquad
As a two man crew Jerry (DJ) and Ruben (host/mc) have rocked almost every spot and venue possible. Whether it's the Amsterdam Arena filled with 30.000 people or an intimate residency, they'll move the crowd regardless. The entrepreneurs, who are also CEO's of a successful entertainment & production agency, started playing together back in '99 in the legendary Club Margaritas which was based in the heart of Amsterdam city. Ever since then it's almost impossible to imagine a Dutch club scene without these two entertainers.
