So...what the heck do people blog about?

And so...as I begin to figure out exactly what I'm going to use my alotted blog space for (Bitch? Moan? Complain? Comment? Point out absurdities? Review Concerts? Albums? Movies? Talk about new technology? Say Hi to friends? Family? DAMMIT!!!), I come to the realization that blogging, while conceptually a wonderful thing, can wreak havok upon those that typically try to streamline their thoughts and the resultant missives that are fired into the world.

Ugh. No wonder so many people don't blog.

So far, I've done a concert review, an album review and two politically charged messages reminding those that would deny rights to others that while they have the right to want everyone to do and be the way that they are, they should be prepared to be reminded loudly and often that while their opinions, hopes, wants and desires may fit nicely and neatly into their prescribed theological belief system, our government and society were formed specifically to do away with removing personal rights based on that idea.

So...Not a bad start.

But now, with the election over, Circuit City failing, and the Niners in the toilet, what the hell is next? I have no impending concerts until the 4th of December (AC/DC! Jeeeeah!), and have not been pissed about anything worth pointing out since I realized Prop 8 passed because a bunch of people can't seem to recognize prejudicial bigotry when it's presented as a proposition (or perhaps they do, but I haven't seen anyone wearing a Yes on 8 shirt since the election...odd, that).

Hmmm. I suppose, as most do, I'll simply blog about whatever is on my mind at any given moment. Currently,  it's a trip to the DMV because they can't seem to deeal with forms that come in the mail. And then I'll delve back into the stack of crap on my desk and ponder the reality of building technology that offers people the ability to 'Dip' into blog postings as a visitor, or 'Dive' into the Blog world (I will NOT say 'Blogosphere'... there are enough tech posers bandying THAT phrase about....) as I am trying to do.

Perhaps YOU should try it...what the Hell? You might accidentally get something off of your chest. Or offend someone's sensibilities. Either way, you're serving food for thought.
