what causes insomnia?

Psychological causes:

1. Anxiety

2. Stress

3. Depression

Physical causes:

1. hormonal changes in women

2. decreases melatonin

3. genetics

 

How can you avoid insomnia?

 

1. Learn to use physical and mental relaxation

2. Establish a regular sleep schedule

3. Avoid taking naps in the afternoon

4. Exercise egularly during the day

5. Use the bed only for sleep and sex, not reading or watching television

6. If you do not fall asleep fairly quickly, get out of bed. Do not return until you feel drowsy

7. Try to reduce stress in your life, or find better ways to cope stress..
