The Remembrance
By E_R_I_S_A_Y_A
Your life ended
with your last breath hidden
away in the darkest depths
of the oblivion world
Our souls hold onto the pain
that you held for so long.
So long that the hurting
had to end in agonizing
cries of grief
Your presence still lingers here
captivating our boundless mind
holding onto us,
like a piece of memory
that needs to be remembered
A beautiful rose with a strong glow
that slowly dims and finally fades away
in one swift motion.
