Love is as beautiful as a rose

And as painful as its thorns

It can be as fragile as ice

Yet as strong as mountains

We long to feel it

Because it is an amazing feeling

But once we feel it

We start to fear the looming shadows

Gathering clouds at the horizon

Announcing the end of love

We fear to lose love

Therefore we cling onto whom we love

Out of fear for losing love

We expedite the arrival of the end

Love … it brings an unique joy to life

But has the power to end lives

Tell me is it worth it?

YES, to love and be loved is wonderful

Far more wonderful than the pain it can cause

Especially wonderful when you meet that one person

The one that makes you fall in love again and again

The one that creates nothing but clear horizons

The one that takes away our fears

When you meet that one

You will experience love in its purest form

And you will realize that all the pain of love lost was necessary

Necessary to be able to feel this wonderful emotion

It truly is better to have loved and lost

Than to have never loved at all
