Great memories...
Written by MissPositivity on March 28, 2010
One week ago I finally got back from Venezuela... Dont get me wrong, I LOVED it there! :)) The whole time being there I felt like I would belong there.. It's a strange feeling... I've met many people and found in some of them really good friends... :) Very funny, when you think of the fact that most of them didn't speak any english or german at all, and since I only speak a few spanish words, it wasnt that easy to communicate! :P But with Jay's help in translating and my hands and feet we kinda made it happen... ;) There were many moments where I was just sooo happy, that I felt like crying...
Just one, to show you what I mean:
One day, I went with Jay to pick up one of his friends, Anghi, from work...I've had only met her one time before...So we were waiting there in the car... My window was open... Then she came out of the building, saw us, started having a LARGE smile on her face.. While running to our car she screamed and was like "Oh Annika, mi amor!!! " :D When she arrived at the car, she gave me a large hug through the open window and gave me a big kiss on my cheek...
I mean, I've only met her one time until then.. But even though she didn't know me that well, she opened her heart for me already... That's unbelievable and just beautiful to me! Now we're just trying to stay in contact via facebook... And we both promised, that she now is going to try learn english, and I will go find a course to learn spanish... :)
Oh guys, I had sooooo much fun in that country, and I've seen, heard, FELT so many things, that I dont wanna miss... I know, this trip has kind of developped my soul... My attitude to life has changed AGAIN, but in a good way... TRAVEL, PEOPLE, TRAVEL! It makes you a better person! :)

Good on you ... You make it happens
Those Great memories of your life clearly draw your friendly positive aspects, opening arms to welcome reciprocally with your smiles. Indeed are mirrors of your real friendship.
Your enjoyment is understandable after communicating in a different configuration of yours and I do agree with you. One of my past experience was on board Singapore Airline bounded to Mauritius. I was helpful to Mongolian Travelers, where communication in English and French were impossible, staff Asian languages too . So is a pleasure for being a communicator using body languages
No need questioning about this foreigner, her aspect are so convincing, with some heritage of life; positively, imaging a good friend to all.
I know you are a smart person, I am glad you enjoyed lot one of your best stay far away from your own land and thank you for sharing this marvelous South American Visit.
I'll be there ... in South America one day.
