8/5/09 Best Day Of My Life xx

Wow.. Where to start...

Well yesterday was Friday 8th May .. and me and my lovely chummys were off to see McFLY on their 'Up Close and This Time It's Personal Tour'.. standing at Manchester Apollo (:

So early start.. we set off at 9.. and arrived for 10ish .. to find that there were already quite a lot of people in the queue which was quite frustrating as we thought we were not going to get to the barrier.. 

After about 2 hours being sat in the freezing, pouring rain with only a hoody and no blanket/umbrella or anything.. we got brought free mcdonalds breakfast :D haha .. After about 4 more hours of making scoobies, munching, laughing, dancing, singing, hibernating in our hoodys, being completely frozen && having numb bums.. we got joined by our other friend who was 'at hospital' or really didnt miss school for the whole day.. 

Then McFLY turned up.. in which everbody rushed to see them .. me and becky included.. leaving the other becky in the queue... to find out that loads of people have pushed infront of us!!.. so we sorted them out and they got chucked to the back of the queue.. 

So.. After about 8 and a half hours waiting.. the doors were nearly ready to be opened .. by which time the half an hour before was the longest half an hour of my life!!... && when they did open the doors.. some german girls jumped over the barrier and pushed in ... but we got them chucked to the back of the queue *proud moment*.

So all we wanted after 9 hours waiting was to leg it to the front... BUT the security guys were like grabbing people to look in their bags.. to which i weaved away from them.. but my friends didnt which left me looking at people running to the front.. which we couldn't do.. :(

Anyway... we got our place right at the front by the barrier.. meaning that Danny Jones was literally only going to be like a meter away from me!!!!

After David Archuleta (or something) and 11 hours waiting the boys came on and OMG it was INCREDIBLE!!! Despite being actually crushed into the barrier.. I got some AMAZING pictures of all of them .. got videos of Dougie doing his 'slug' dance move.. Tom && Danny dancing.. && Harry singing and dancing!!!!!

If things couldnt get any better... Danny jumped of stage and i grabbed him and his guitar!!! Then Dougie threw pizza into the crowd covering me.. and shook up a bottle of coke drencing me and my mates!!! THEN Danny ran across the stage topless (to my disappointment my camera did not take a picture in time) .. and lastly Dougie... 'bombed' into the crowd like you would do in a pool!! followed by their security guard!!

It was absolutly MENTAL... now having bruised ribs and being covered in coke.. but out of all the 9 McFLY gigs i have been to.. this was by far the best EVER!.. And i wouldnt have blabbered on for ages like this if it wasn't the best night of my life!!

So worth the 12 hour wait.. and would do it all over again any day!!

And i dont care if you havn't read to the end of this.. or got bored half way through.. i just thought i'd like to document the event :) 

But if you did read it... then yay to you :) haha
