Talking about German news and so on it made me remember something that I once saw while watching the weather predictions. It was so hilarious since that woman couldn't stop laughing because of that dude that you could see for a short period of time when she actually expected to see the map!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mivnxTL5aA I'll translate some parts for you: Whenever she says somethinglike Tschuldigung, it means sorry haha (eg. at 16 sconds, 31, 40) then at 22 to 24 seconds she says "sorry, it's still a little bit early in the morning" muhaha I love watching that xD

LMAO you JUST realized I was flying on September 11th? That was the first thing coming to my mind when they asked me to come on that date haha But I'm not gonna fly to NYC and it won't take too long, so I think it's alright. However, it's gonna be my first time on a plane so I'll be scared to death anyways - as soon as the plane shakes just a tiny little bit I'll be like, WOOAAAH was that just normal?! haha xD

OH MY GOD do you know what? They broadcasted the finale of Grey's yesterday BUT I wasn't at hooome, so I totally missed it - I'm such a dork haha but I went out with my twin sister and one of my best friends to go to the cinema (My Sister's Keeper - omg best movie EVER) and so this was more important than the finale that I already knew anyways muhaha xD

I think it's kinda cool that you wanna watch some German news or something else in German. But I can't really understand why haha Especially, since you wouldn't understand a word anyways! xD but maybe that's exactly the funny and exciting part about it. I once happened to watch something in French and, apparently, I didn't understand anything as well - but I loved analyzing their emotions and face expressions and all that stuff!! :D
Ohhh my God! I totally agree that your friend's 18th birthday was so over the top! I wouldn't really feel comfortable at such a party. Also, I can't stand having too many people around, like twenty people. I hate it cause then you don't get to talk to everyone and it mostly ends up in any kinda trouble with such a big group of people. Besides, it might sound kinda stupid or contradictory, but the more people there are the more I feel alone. Cause everybody is involved in their own conversations and then I tend to kinda shut myself away. However, I think you shouldn't worry too much about your birthday. Just spend it with your closest people, people who know how to appreciate your presence and who know what they have when they have you! :) And I don't think the presents matter. I never get great presents, you know. Actually, all I get is: Some money from my mom (not much, but like 15 Euro) plus a card, then money from my grandparents (like 50€), then from my dad and his wife a random present (whatever comes to their mind. Mostly, something that I can't use and that I put aside somewhere at home) plus 20 Euro. That's basically it. So, you see, I actually only get money.  hate getting a present that has no meaning - I think if you give someone a present it has to have to do with that person, something that has a meaning. By the way, IF you want you could give me your address cause I really wanna send you a little present or at least a letter for your birthday then :) Oh, or for Christmas cause then I could send you something for both, Christmas and your birthday since it's so close. But only if you wanna do that or if you're allowed to do it! :)
Deary, I'm sorry that I make you feel sad when I tell you about my time in England - I never intented to do so! You know, I also had to wait until I had the chance to go abroad. I decided to do this approximately one year ago, so I basically waited one year for this day to eventually come. Just hang in there and don't let the urge of freedom get you down. I had this very problem: I was thinking about England all the time and so I kinda neglected all my school work. I only had my travel on my mind. Don't let that happen to you as well, honey!
And yes, they do have two kids: Jasmine turned six in July and Christopher turned four in May. But unfortunately, there aren't any teengers. But their current Au-Pair, that they're having right now, will be with me for one week so she can most likely show me around a little and tell me how everything's working :) Please, my dear, never give up your dream of going to America some day!! I really really mean it, cause I can see that you would have such an awesome life there and that no matter what would come, you'd be able to master every obstacle. Dreams are like your lungs and fulfilling your dreams is like the necessary air you need to breathe. (Jesus, I just made that one up) haha

Yeah, sometimes I happen to watch CNN! haha it's funny, though, cause they talk about stuff that I'm not affected by at all since everything's happening in America or England (depends on which CNN I watch - the American or British one) haha. xD

You asked how my host family had been when I met them - I haven't met them yet. We've just been sending e-mails and chatting on Facebook so far. Actually, we wanted to talk on the phone as well but unfortunately there was always something getting in the way! xD I can tell you how they were once I arrived (September 11th), okay? :) And what do I plan on doing there first? That's a really good question haha Ithink I firstly have to do some less pleasant stuff like signing up for a language school which I want to attend, then getting myself an own bank account over there and then I already have to book my tickets to go back to Germany during Christmas (they'll give me one week off - yaaay haha). We'll see, we'll see! Only 20 days left for me to take that damn plaaane! WOOP! haha I SO can't wait anymore :) ALL MY LOVE TO YOU, SWEETIE PIE!! xoxo

Oh Jesus, I totally forgot about the fact that I'll have to watch it in English then haha but I don't think I'll have any big problems, since I watch a lot of English interviews, shows and other stuff on YouTube, and also sometimes CNN (which is broadcasted in English here haha). :D
