Is it me, or is there an imbalance of feminity on Dipdive? Are dudes just more social....or dare I say, tech savvy? I want to be proven wrong on both accounts. I myself will begin recruiting to balance the energy and I challenge all the current Dippers (of Divers) to do the same.

I feel that this site is for connecting with artist on a personal level and getting your emotions out there a bit (hence the name "Dipdive", cuz it's like skinny dipping with your emotions), and guy's really don't like to get in touch with their emotional side, we think it shows weakness.
I personally feel good to get my emotions out a little bit, at least on the computer, just read some of my blogs. But I'm still like any other guy, it's hard to get it out there verbally, but i'm using the Beautiful Movements site as sort of a stepping stone for that.

Well the site is still new, so maybe once the word gets out a bit more, things will change, and change seems to be an ongoing phenomenon of the site.

Hi there Slarkin. I'm a female and came here to Dipdive because of will.i.am. Dang he is so talented! I enjoy this web site so much that I decided to sign up recently. However, being a mother of 5 yr old twin boys, of which one was diagnosed with Autism shortly after they turned 4 years old keeps me pretty busy to say the least.
I am some what tech savvy. It's not much but I did get my A+ Certification before I had my twins. I have a few web sites (there's one I pay for and put together completely with HTML and note pad) , and when I have time I update them. I put together a few videos and post them up on Youtube, keep in touch with others on Myspace, tolerate Facebook, love music and often on playlist.com.
I really do enjoy Dipdive. It's different here and I love the high quality it offers. I just have to get to know the ins and outs here.

I think the pendulum has officially shifted. I've only been a member for 3+ months and I've noticed LOTS of femininity on this site!! So your plan to recruit more females was successful! Good work.
