My little story.
Written by Sandra on July 26, 2009
Actually, I don't quite know WHAT this is - I just wrote down what I had on my mind.
It's supposed to show you a little bit more of myself, my personality, so I hope you like it :)
18 years old, she's seen a lot of things in her life
people dying, people crying, fighting for their rights.
She lost friends, tries to pretend nothing could ever break her
her eyes ran dry, forgot how to really cry with time passing by.
Believing the world will change for the better
doing anything not to let it shatter.
Trying hard to live as a leading person
trying hard to be her own best version.
Tired of people judging other people's lives
nobody knows how hard she really tries.
She learned her lessons a lot of times
not to believe and trust someone's lies.
Seen more things than you would expect
yet transfering the love that she reflects.
She never runs away, she always fights
never forgetting that shadows are cast by lights.
Knowing what she wants, she tries to go further
ignoring the people trying to change her.
Having a lot of insecurities, though
giving her best not to let them show.
Lost her faith several times before
knowing that nothing in life's for sure.
Her steady companions, love and compassion
willing to learn every given lesson.
Still she keeps on singing her song
so strong, though no one sings along.
Wondering what's happened with the world
all this pain and unnecessary hurt.
Wondering why people pretend not to see
when it's more than just bout you and me.

Such an honest and insightful poem, it's good to let out whats on your mind, cleanses you :)
Remember, what doesn't kill you, can only make you stronger.

We are not only what we eat and air we breathe. We are also the stories that we have heard, the tales that we listened when we was children before going to bed, the books that we have read, the music that we heard and the emotions that a painting, a statue, a poem, your poem, have given us.. thanks ...Sie hat mich weinen :0)

if you wrote that down from what you had in mind at that time, bloody hell girl thats good. You should do it more. it's funny but we all think we have nothing to offer yet as we all talk more and get together we find we have more than we realise.
