Spina Bifida
Written by Slimdogg7 on April 15, 2009
I was born with Spina Bifida (google it) and that means that my spine wasn't completely in my body when I was born (No I don't have pictures). October is Spina Bifida Awareness Month and the color of it is teal. No one know this because October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Not that I'm bitter. Well, I have my moments. But still, I remind myself of the things I have because of it. I ski an adaptive program called Stride (google it), I go to camp for a week called Double H Hole in the Woods Ranch (Paul Newman's camp, RIP) among other things. Maybe my legs won't be as strong as Kim's. But hey, I accept that.
