Fergie in Verona, NY 12/28/07

Where should I start? I've wanted to see Fergie for so long. Then I found out she was coming to New York.. which isn't exactly that close to me, but I figured it was my only chance to see her on the Dutchess Tour. So I asked.. and I couldn't believe my mom actually said yes.

I left for the ten hour trip to Verona on December 27.. it wasn't really fun sitting in a car all day. It was very boring.. and I was really nervous, so that didn't make it any better.

We finally got to the Casino.. and I about died when I saw how big the whole thing was. How could I possibly find Fergie in this place? It was huge.. . And people who worked there were mostly really rude . Except for one who helped us a little later..

I was so nervous about everything that would happen the next day. The food was expensive there, so we had to drive around forever to find somewhere to eat. We finally found a Wal-Mart a few minutes away.. everyone seemed to have pajama pants on there . I had the worst head ache ever.. I found Blender with Fergie on the cover there.. my mom read it. Bad move.. she said she would of never taken me if she would of read that before we left.. . So that didn't help me feel any better.. I went to sleep that night at midnight, but then I woke up at 2:30 and couldn't sleep .

Before I knew it, it was 2 pm the next day. I was in the elevator, and  Peabody4life called me. She was just outside the door and I saw her standing there . I was shaking soo much.. it was weird. I went out there and my mom and sister came with me.. then I started to shake more . Lmao. We came inside and our parents talked some. Then we left to get something to eat.. but I wasn't hungry.

We saw eachother again after I ate and our parents stopped and talked.. again . Then we left eachother . I searched the place with my parents, and we found Fergie's tour bused around back. Kelly called me a little later, but I was in the casino part and it was realllyyy hard to hear and understand . I went to get my card for Natalie, but I never ended up giving it to her. Haha sorry . Kelly and I met again and went to look around. We found the radio station people. They said they'd be interviewing her later if she was in a good mood .

Then my mom, my sister, Kelly, and I went to Natalie's party. We were just going to give her the cards, but we ended up staying longer. Then we went and got ice. haha. As we were coming back, Hadley and Xtine came up behind us. We all came in, sat, and talked... well Kelly and I didn't really talk any because we were so nervous, but they talked.

I met Kelly later at the escalator, and we went in to the event center to see Fergie at 7. I got two shirts, a poster, and a keychain. We went into the actual place she was performing, and I was suprised at how small it actually was . Our seats were okay.. not good.. definetly not first row, but I thought they'd be worse. We waited so long for Fergie to come out.. from 7-8:25.. and they started playing the same songs over.

They finallllyyy started changing the lights and everyone screamed. Then Here I Come started to play . I could hear Fergie singing, but I couldn't see her . They finally got the spot lights right, and I could see Fergie . She came right through the middle of the stage beside Keith's drums. I couldn't believe Fergie was just.. right there . I wanted to cry so much, but I couldn't because I was in shock.

Fergie was soo cute through out the concert. She's say these adorable things like "I heard there is a casino here.. Did any one win? *cheers* Did any one lose? *cheers* Are there any good buffets? *more cheers* " Then when it came time for the bep medley she said.. "I know, that you know, that I know, that you know, that I know that you know I'm in a band called the Black Eyed Peas." And after Pedestal.. "Sorry, I just had to get all that out. It's gotta go somewhere." Before Glamorous.. "What's next.. Tehe" *runs to look at the setlist. G-G-G blasts from the speakers* "Ooohh! Now I know why I put this little girly outfit on for ya!" When she was announcing her dancer.. "Go Marvellous, Go Marvellous, Go Marvellous, Goooo Marveellous *she cupped her hands around the microphone, made her voice really deep, and talked slow.* It was soo cute . After her dancers' dance-off "They're lucky they have humps, because I just have to poke it out there ." Before BGDC.. "Ryan Seacreast called me up on the phone and told me.. this is the #1 song of 2007!" After BGDC.. "I Love Every single one of you.. do you still love me even if I miss a note?" *cheers* And a bunch of really cute stuff!

Her voice is so sweet in person.. it's adorable.. she's beautiful . I miss it soo much.. . We looked everywhere for her after the concert.. at the Lava, by her tour buses, in the lodge.. we found Pascal and gave him our Fergie letters.. he told us she was sleeping and we couldn't get autographes then . I was soo sad.. . My mom made me leave after that.. I wanted to stay so much and meet Bucky Johnson and Bobby.. but my mom would of started a fight with me.. so I just hugged Kelly goodbye.. and that was it . She met Bobby, George, and Printz after I left.. and I'm glad she did , but I wanted to be with her .

That's about it.. the ride home sucked.. I was miserable.. . I missed everything soo much . Well.. Happy New Year to everyone! Hopefully Kelly and I will be able to meet Fergie together in 2008! <33

* I had more typed about us trying to meet Fergie.. but the journal entry wouldn't hold it all.. so I had to delete most of it . We tried our best to meet Fergie.. we really did. <33
