You have written love song about YES WE CAN, and about AMERICA that brings tears to my eyes and joy to my heart every time I hear them, and I am grateful for the gift that God has given to you and you have been generous to bring it to us!  Your songs connect hearts and that is the most important and as my motto says:Only a HEARTizen can heal the world! And you are ONE! Indeed we are all blessed to have  Mr. President Barack Hossein Obama as our President for now and the years to come! Very Nice!  I wasn't a fan in the beginning of this song, but after all of the hoopla has played out--I think it's a great song!  I love this song!  I love the performance.  I am a believer again.

8 yrs ago I was devastated in the direction our country was going after 9/11. But after today and listening to this song late last night and watching the inaugaral I have hope and pride again. I am glad that my girls are able to see history in the making and see that no matter what race you are you can be whatever you want. Thank you will for such a beautiful song that has made me proud to be an American again. God bless and Keep you President Obama and to your beautiful family.
