When life throws you blisters..get blister plasters!
Written by ToriR on September 20, 2011
so
once upon a time
i stupidly wore boots id never wore before
on a walk around london to find a taxi
and this taxi hunting took many years
and myself and my fellow companions, Lisa and Rachel, walked for miles
in my boots
that rubbed
and they rubbed to form a blister
well two blisters, which helped to cure my mild OCD
which if someone who liked deep meanings read this story
they could compare the blisters to pain in my life
and the pain was constant
but i walked on defiant to my pain
just to get to the goal of the slaughtered lamb
and we made it
but the pain is still here
deep down
inside
and outside
it really hurts
but i have a constant reminder
of the struggle we faced to find a taxi in london
in the form of a hole in my left foot
and a matching but slightly less holy blister on my right foot
its a symbol of hope
that no matter the journey
or the destination
you will always get blisters
to bring you back down to earth [picture posed by model, blister plaster model's own]

Haha this is kinda touching and funny at the same time, touching because when youre feeling hurt, you can learn life lessons from it so that the pain goes away (BTW did you check the size of the shoes 1st haha)

LMFAO im glad you laughed, this was not a serious blog (can you write a serious blog about blisters?!) but thank you for journing with me. i like scars, they make you ...you. i only have two real scars, one from walking into a desk, and the other from scratching myself with my thumbnail? not really daredevil scars..sadly.
I LOVE YOU TOOOO xoxo

I laughed...so much. Even though it felt wrong to laugh at some points.
But this is soooo funny!!!!
I know your pain though...I have scars from blisters I had years ago, physically and emotionally.
I think blisters are a part of life. They hurt like hell when they are there. But things look up when they start to fade. Even though the scars can be a constant reminder of a bad blister, they are also our war wounds and we should be proud of them, and proud of ourselves for overcoming them.
I LOVE YOU XXX
