28th Maori Battalion

In 1939 our grand-father joined the army. In 1940 he went to war. They were known as Te Hokowhitu a Tumatauenga 28th Maori Battalion.

We lost alot of koro
Moe Mai ra nga Rangatira ma....
As age grows old and lives forgotten, our warriors will never be forgotten.
91 years of age... and still flying around the world....
