OUR DOG DIED...

I am so devastated.... storm ONDOY hits Manila. We've been here in our residence for almost 55 years and this disaster NEVER occured.. our house was flooded, knee high. The streets of Manila and the rest of Region 4-A was flooded upto their roofs... aside from all of these happenings, our dog for almost 14 YEARS, BROWNIE, died. He was carried by the flood. we found him FLOATING beside our car... I burst into tears while my brother and uncle was reviving him....
PLS. PRAY FOR THOSE FILIPINOS WHO ARE STILL AFFECTED BY THE STORM AND FOR THOSE 100+ PEOPLE WHO DIED... RIP

am glad to hear that its going well for you over in manila. yeh i bet the destructioin of the typhoon would still be difficult esp as u mention financially n emotionally. seeing on the news in Aus was pretty devastating but actuallly being there n caught up in it must have been horrible. hopefully 2010 will be a great year for manila! :) take care pal

right now everything is fine for us here in manila. the flood went down 2 days after the typhoon but the damage that it has caused is unbelievable (in terms of financial and emotional as well).. when i watched the news a few weeks ago, they said that there are still some families who cannot go back to their home and still residing in the evacuation centers. they spent Christmas and new year there... =(
