An Historic Day.

Today will be an historic day and I am so glad that I am alive to see it happen. I am also glad that my 3 daughters are alive to see this day. My thoughts here lately have gone to those who came before us and the struggles they had to endure so we could have the freedoms and abilities to use them to our further ourselves. Today will be one day that I really wish that everyone will have a piece of the joy that I am feeling right now. Hopefully, one day someone's race won't be such a factor anymore but who they are on the inside and the qualities they bring to the table will be enough for everyone. My 3 girls can now grow up knowing that anything in this world is reachable they just have to work to get there.
