My Black Eyed Peas Experience

Wow I can't believe I've actually watched them 3 times already! and what's left! Yeah it's no big deal, some probably have watched them over 20 times, but for me, it's the greatest thing ever!

Let's go back to... 2006. I wanted to see BEP live on their 'Monkey Business' Tour... but I couldn't ):

Let's go back to... 2007. Year later. Already a truly great fan. Had to buy 200 pepsis to get the best tickets xD It was cool. Then I saw the Peas really getting it on. Fergie doing her 'one handed flips' and sippin on... microphones xD She performed glamorous, london bridge and big girls don't cry! I still have the videos! Not so good, but have them still xD... Yeah. It was amazing.

When I thought I'd seen it all, the E.N.D. came out and I literally screamed. Bought the record, listened to it over and over, amazed by the music and the level they had reached. Someone told me they were playing at the Goliath Music Fest in Mexico City. And there I was, hell yeah! Ticket on hand, 14 hours standing, under the ray of sun. Just to get a glimpse... (I actually appear on the recording of Meet Me Halfway during that concert, and in some other vids too!) I was astonished. And we were dancing like nothing else mattered! Just 3 seconds after they got off stage my legs betrayed me and I had to get out xD but it was TOTALLY WORTH IT. Now, I gotta say I screamed like a crazy person when Will.i.am said 'WE ARE COMING BACK NEXT YEAR!'

Thought they wouldn't T__T and one day in august a friend of mine posts on my fb the link from this very webstie, and I almost faint. Those were hard times because first we wanted VIP! But we couldn't. Then they released the tickets later. Then they spread a rumor that the concert had been cancellated! I don't know how I was able to deal with it! xD But then, FINALLY, with my tickets in my hands I took a very deep breath and smiled :) Just the same day I was told about lady gaga's concert, sou u can imagine xD I was crazy happy.

Time flies! Next thing I knew, the concert was just a few hours away! Standing under the sun with my best friend David and my brother-cousin Daniel (whose birthdays had been on Oct. 1 and 3rd, the concert happening on Oct. 2... WOW! That's faith :D God wanted them to go.... and obviously me xD) we waited there for like 9 hours, being pushed, struggled and almost killed by the crowd D: I thought I was gonna die before they actually started singing xD and much worse when David Guetta came on stage at 8:05 pm! That was like a big boom of people jumping there and here and everywere, all stepping on my foot, apparently. But that was just the beggining, OMGGG! We were talking to someone when the E.N.D's cover face appeared on the screens announcing the beggining of what would be the best day fo my life so far!

I start screaming like the crazy person I am when I see Apl. The I see Taboo. Where's Fergie? OMG THERE SHE IS LOOK! AH THERE'S WILL.I.AM! AAAAAHHHH!!!!! People start bouncing. I start taping. My head stands out from the rest, and I watch them while they jump and go around the stage. Fergie's blonde again :D and she rocks being blonde, I gotta say. She comes closer and closer. Suddenly Taboo's in front of me. (I was like the 5th person away from the stage) I go 'WOW' and when they begin singing 'Rock That Body', they all appear in front of us. I swear to God that Fergie saw me. And other 75 thousand people but damn I swear they all saw me! xD I was so close, I could see the sweat on their foreheads! I'm just dancing and singing to everything. The people around are like 'Wow, he's singing the rap parts!' and I'm like 'YEAH BITCHEEESS!!!! Apl. de Ap from the Fillipines live and direct rocking this scene, breaking on down for the B-boys and B-girls... lalala =D)

The sound, excelent. The lights... OMG what an spectaCOOL! I mean, how often do you see a robot coming out a star ship lading on the stage and making a DJ set just in front of you, uh? In a tower that rises suddenly above ur head an ur like 'That's it, Will.i.am. You are, oficially the coolest person on earth and period.' The camera's battery rans out in Hey Mama -.-' so I turn around and tell Daniel to pass me the mobile. When I turn around, I see Fergie shaking like I have never seen anyone shake it a few steps from me. I must've had a face that made her laugh... And everyone else. God, she's SO HOT! She was staring at us with a face like: 'Oh yes I did...' haha :D

Everything was just so perfect. And then the solo's... PFFFFFF what can I say!? Apl breakdancing in front of us- Taboo vs. Boota and special guest... Juanes! Then I'm like... who's next? OH I KNOW! IT'S HER! The beautiful woman singing 'G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S' just a few steps away from me... AGAIN! When she was about to sing 'Big Girls Don't Cry' the crowd started cheering: 'FERGIE! FERGIE! FERGIE!' And she turned around and said: 'I LOVE YOU!' And I felt that she specially said it about me, I don't know bout the rest... xD Yes, I am deeply in love with that woman. And Will.i.am well, I already described hat, the biggest night club in the world! Everyone dancing like there's no tomorrow!!! That's just how it's supposed to be!

Then Will.i.am starts telling us some things about Love. And we all can say what's next. But I never expected it to be so magical and beautiful as it is when you are THERE and your heart stands above the crowd and we all become just ONE. And we start singing: 'Father, father, father help us...' =')

And then Pump It, and we all jump! And then Boom Boom Pow and Fergie owns the stage! But nothing can compare to the ending. WOW! I Gotta Feeling's just THE song to perform live. And they do it OH so Well! Then they get right in front of us with David Guetta while Fergie sings: 'I can live... with or without you...' <3 There are no words to describe what the feeling is. I think everyone who's ever been to their shows and experience that can feel the same, right? It's just a moment where you're just HAPPY. Where everything's fine, and everything's ok, just perfect, because tonight's gonna be a good night =))) And then they introduce the band, & I'll never forget Fergie saying: 'Good night everybody, we are the Black Eyed Peas!' and then I watched them slowly go down the stage until they disappear... So beautiful. The best experience ever, I gotta say. The best 4 hours of my life. The best spot to be. The best songs. The best show. The best band in the world, and Fireworks at the end, only in one night... well that's a lot to say, and I'm so happy to have been able to be there with them, and let the Peas know that anywhere they are, if I can be there, I will. Because I love them, above ANYTHING! More now than ever. <3
