here's a shot of the almost full moon on july 3, also taken at work because it was slow on july 3. yay! in a few days the moon will be full and i will post another shot. it's amazing with this image stabilization Canon 55-250 zoom lens you can see the craters on the moon! IS keeps the camera from shaking while handholding. i also tried some on the tripod with mirror lockup but they all look about the same. the craters don't show up as well here as in the pictures from the night before, maybe i will switch them when i get home. hope  you like this!

p.s. the full moon as not as good as this shot so i don't feel like posting it. ok then.
