California Sucks.

I've lived in Cali my whole life--born and raised. I love it here. The weather, the incredible scenery and all the attractions are wonderful... but... Our elected legislators and the worst governor in the history of California (and possibly the world) are really making this state a horrible place to live.

I don't want to live anywhere but the pacific coast... but oregon and washington are too cold for too long... But I can't live in this mess anymore. California used to be this great state, 8th largest economy in the world, the place where everyone wanted to live--the land of opportunity within the land of opportunity.

I'm so sad, but I feel like I have no choice but to leave my home--what was once a grand and wonderful place that has now become something no one ever imagined was possible, but in a bad way.

I feel like I'm betraying my roots. But maybe it was that my roots betrayed me. I feel like my representatives aren't representing me. So much for democracy.
