Autism

Written by irod54 on July 31, 2009

Being autistic is no fun at all. I was diagnosed with autism at around 4 years old, I can't tell you how much my life stinks because of this. I feel like I'm not normal, that I'm weird. I do weird things that are not normal. I really wish I was like a normal person. But I guess I never will be.

Don't ever wish to be someone else cause the differences between you and all the other peopleĀ are the things that make you uniquely beautiful. It may be hard but in the end it's all you can do! What's the point in pitying yourself? This is your life, the one life that was given to you and everyhing that comes along with it is yours - and so is your autism. I don't know what it must feel like to have autism, not at all. However, I know someone who also suffers from it. He's twelve years old and is hardly able to speak, though he's a pro on the piano. See the good aspects at it: You could be a lot worse off. It's hard to always stay positive, but just try it. Like I said: It's all you can do! Appreciate life for what it is: A true rollercoaster with a lot of ups and downs. Take your life and embrace it - it's the only one you got. Take care! xoxo.
