"WEEPING GLACIER" cries a river - Global warning

A photo of a melting glacier dubbed "Mother Nature in Tears"
WE ARE ALL CONCERNED
Has been seized by environmentalists as the latest sombre reminder of the effects of climate change.
Environmental lecturer Michael Nolan captured the image on a trip to Norway in July while he was observing the ice-shelf, Austfonna, which is shrinking by almost 50m each year.
"This is how one would imagine mother nature would express her sentiments about our inability to reduce global warming," Mr Nolan said.

Global warming could do more than just melt polar ice. It could change our maps, and displace people from cities and tropical islands.

global warming is a massive issue, we can see it on the news, the rapid and outrageous weather pattern happening at the moment. its just doesnt happen because it does, its happening because we are burning and wastefully using up resources without thinking of the consequences. hopefully we as individual can start of with what we can and the government plays their part.

I think global warming is really a serious matter, which should really be taken seriously. We do not want to lose the world? Or destroy the beauty of nature and life? I do not think so! So is doing something even when we can!!!

I think Global Warming is an issue that has been blown way out of proportion. The earth's temperature changes, it's something that has always happend, and considering that the "facts" on global warming aren't concrete, I wouldn't bet my life on it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that we shouldn't take care of our enviorment, God gave us this beautiful place to live, and to take dominion over, we definately need to do what we can to preserve it to it's best. Also, I believe God made us, He made the earth, it's not like He didn't know the changes that we would do to the earth when we made it. He created this earth to support us, He didn't forget our needs, therefore I don't think we need to go crazy over global warming. Here are some sites I think you guys should check out...

Global warming is a serious issue which a lot of people seem to not care about. We are the world and by destroying the earth we are only hurting ourselves. What will the world be like in the next 2-3 generations? What will our grandchildren and their children have to live through? I worry a lot about our planet, I do all i can to stop carbon emissions but im only one person.
The world needs OUR help, but its getting people to realise what they are doing by ignoring this, thats the real problem.

very interesting¡¡¡ guys if you have not watched AL gore´s the inconvinient truth ,you need to do it it´s very interesting ,We hear a lot about the polution and the global warming and that we need to do so and so in order to prevent it ,but the truth it´s that besides talking or think about it for a minute we don´t do nothing ,when u watch that movie it´s really shocking what can happen in the next years ,it makes you wonder if we will make it to watch our next generations grow;, we should need to make more conscience and start to do things that helps prevent not only global warming but the shortage of water that some countries are suffering,,for example did you know that when you turn on your computer and start browsing on the internet your also polluting? for my part I don´t use computer as much as before ,I dont´ride a car , i turn the lights off if im not in a room and so on ,,,so guys spread the word and start to make conscience about it ,remember we only have one planet earth and we need to take care of it ¡¡¡
