1989: Will.i.am and apl.de.ap first meet in eighth grade and form a duo called "Atbann Klann".
1992: After preforming around los angeles they were nearly signed to ruthless records but the deal fell through.
1995: They recruit Taboo and call themselves the "black eyed peas".
1998: After finally signing the dotted line with interscope records they release there debute album "behind the front."
2000: The peas hit the charts with thier second album "bridging the gap."
2001: Taboo bumps into JT and they exchange numbers.
later 2001:Will.i.am spots the talent of Fergie and invites her to complete the peas line up.
2002: Jt helps Taboo out when hes trying to write a hook for thier next single and hey presto "where is the love" is born.
