Four Days in Parallel
Written by mark on October 20, 2008
When the iSight for Apple was first introduced, I decided I would do the most dangerous thing ever - place it in my L.A. apartment and let it record for 31 days straight. The images were automatically placed on the front page of my myspace profile for all the world to see.
The camera was activated by motion-sensor and programmed to record a new frame every 5 seconds until the motion stopped. The images from 4 consecutive days were sync'd and placed onto single screen. "Four Days in Parallel" was the result.
Note: when a quadrant of the screen is black, it means the camera shut off due to inactivity. The camera automatically resumed whenever motion was detected.
