It is fun how things just happen in our life. When I read "The Fight for Beauty" , I never thought that every word that Kimberly said, would change the life of someone that I love so much. I was so touched, I could barely talk or express what I was feeling. It was so hard to write this blog 'cause I would not have the right to share something that is not mine, right ? But now I can share it with you... I am happy to do it.
My week was so stressful because of my exams and when I was reading Kim’s blog.. OMG ... speechless for a second!! I found the answer I was looking for !! The story that I’m telling you now, will make you understand everything I told you so far ... That was more or less the message that I sent to Kim two days ago, in tears, by the way !! In tears I'm writing it here again ... Tears of joy! It's the story of how "The fight for beauty" helped to save my friend’s life… I’m not kidding !!
My friend has problems with self-acceptance, syndrome of panic and she’s depressive. She told me last week that she can't eat because she’s feeling fat, then, when she eats, immediately she tries to throw up. For months we are trying to do something for her but she doesn't want to help herself. After read the Kim's blog on Saturday, I went to her home and I said:
- I just wanna tell you one thing. Plz, read that blog made by Kimberly from PCD… It’s her story … Tell me what you think about it…
She doesn't speak English, so I translated to portuguese and I put a song called "Save you" (Simple Plan ). While I was reading and the music was playing, her face was in tears then she said :
Her : - Why are you showing me this ??
Me: - Because I love you and I won't give up on you… But I can't help you until you save yourself…
Her: - This story of the blog is true ?? OMG… I saw myself in this story.. This woman is unbelievable !!
After talking about the blog and Kim’s story of life for hours, she said to me :
- Ok, you won.... I will give a chance to myself and please, say "thank you" to Kimberly.. I will try to find and love myself again!!
Then, she SMILED… OMG.. I didn't remember the last time that I saw a warm smile on her face !! Yesterday, I went to the doctor with her. … She wants take the treatment. I can't believe !! I can't find the right words to describe what I'm feeling now ... “The fight for beauty” really touched me in a way that I can't describe .... Amazing !! She was so nervous in the doctor’s and so was I .. He talked a lot with her, set up some exams, said some other types of treatment and strengthened : the love for life and patience will be the more effective treatments.
After months, she decided to take an attitude of life's change ... The certain words, in the certain time! She told me that it is very easy for people who have never gone through this, understand what she felt. But when she hears what she needs from someone who went through something like this, everything sounds different. Sounds like a sign from God saying .. "Hey, wake up! Is your chance, I did this for you."
She's asked me to write this blog to share her story. Of course, still have a lot of things to happen, I know it will not be easy but I will always be here to support her .. One step at a time! You can imagine now how I'm feeling ... Now I think I understand why I found Beautiful Movements .. Maybe this has been my mission, and many more missions are to come ... Maybe write “The fight for beauty” and help to save a life was the Kim’s mission of week ... I just know that I am so grateful for this angel called Kimberly. She’s so blessed. I’m so thankful for this amazing place called BM. This place is like a very powerful stream, sharing happiness, love, hope and life !
Still in tears, I finish this blog but this beautiful story of overrun is not finished yet…

Omg...I simply do not have words...this story touched my heart. I admire you!!! Kim Blogs, it is not simple words. They with all the heart and it inspires and helps! They have helped your friend to understand that it is necessary to love itself and to love a life! It is a huge gift to us from God. And we should appreciate all it! :)

wow..every one should have a friend like you are!who doesn't give you up,who wants to help you no matter how hard it might be. you're a real friend and I hope the story will have a happy ending but together you'll make it ;) thank you so much for sharing your friend's story,and now it's also yours,with all of us.

Saying that "The Fight for Beauty" means a lot to me, is not exaggeration... I can't stop to read and remember everything that happened in my life and in the lives of the people I love because of this amazing blog. Oh man.... I wanna take a picture of your blog and hang on the wall of my room, just for look at it when I wake up and feel me inspired by your strength of will, determination and courage to share your life well this way. Is incredible to see how people felt touched by what you said - although that's not surprise me, all your blogs are so touching - and "The Fight for Beauty" is beautiful. It allow people to open your heart and speak your own truth! I say that your blog, as well as all BM's Vlogs and Blogs, is my therapy ... and you are the best "psychologist". \o/ Awesome *-*

You made me cry.... *-* I can't find the exactly words to say how your comment mean to me, you are so amazing !!! Kim, I thought milion times before write this blog... I think it was one of the hardest things I wrote. As I said here, I was so nervous and I thought I would not have the right to share something that is not mine... At the same time I thought " I need to share it with Kim and my BM family, after all, Kim started it" =)
I'm so happy now, I'm feeling realized !! I know will not be easy but i'm not afraid, not anymore !! Here I have all support that I need to make good things happen.. People need to know the power of this place !! Yeah.. We can be the change we wish to see in the world.. I believe !! I think It's my duty to help her out... Kim, You are my inspiration for do it... you are my angel!!! I believe every one have your own beautiful movements inside! Oh wow this story just really touched me deeply. I know what your friend must be going through, since I kinda feel the same way. Your friend can be so happy to have a friend like you in her life. And you can be truly proud of yourself for what you did for her! :)
