ANIMAL CELEBRATION¡¡

Hi everybody¡¡ well first of all this is the first post I make since I became a member on DIPDIVE ,I know its a shame but for several reasons (work and other stuff) I didn´t have enough time to do it till now, Last weekend I went to an exposition called ANIMAL CELEBRATION,Its like the cow parade but only this time the figures instead of Cows are Endangered Species,you can see white rhinos,panda´s,jaguar´s,puma´s,quetzales,among others along the REFORMA corridor (the most important avenue in Mexico city) ,the exposition will end November 2009 and the figures will be auctioned,all the raised funds will be donated to NATURALIA,an association that take´s care of endangered species.

the Most Important thing that I like about this kind of art manifestations its that they can raise awareness among the people to take real care of all the animals that are in danger of became extinted, we(human beings) need to learn how to respect their habitats,we need to stop killing them ,we gotta respect them as we respect ourselves,,they may not talk like us and they may not have the ability to work with technology ot to live at the same pace we do ,but that doesnt mean they dont feel or that they dont have any purpose(rather than dress us or feed us )in this world,,we need to stop thinking we are the supreme beings in this world,Man till now its the biggest disgrace on earth because with all of the technology and the developed mind it posses ,other than just destroy or try to own everything it touches has not been able to keep a balance on life ,we have to learn how to take care of the ecosystem and the environment ,we need to stop polluting,we need to stop destroying  the ozone layer in order to stop global warming ,if we don´t start to take conscience of it the next endangered or extinct specimen will be US ¡ we need to keep a balance with al the species in this world in order to leave in peace ¡¡
