A shot at love - truly?

I was talking to my friend one day and he was afraid. She was confused, she asked me what love is.
I simply replied with: "Love is something that you feel, it's special to you and no one else."
I know I'm in love, truly. My question is are you in love? Has it been illegal? Has it been scrutinized? Has it suffered? Is your love so strong to fight true all this?
Do you have a shot at love - truly?
