Inspiration
Written by zahd on November 21, 2009
There is something depressing about sending people off at the airport, especially those who are going off for their pilgrimage. I’m not so sure about you, but every time I send someone off, I feel scared that it will be the last time I see the person.
So the story is that I sent my grandaunt off today and watching her hug her sister was too heart-breaking for me because the both of them remind me so much of my late grandma.
I had to turn away so as not to cry and ruin my make up.
On another note, when I saw my extended relatives, I saw for myself how life always goes around in a cycle. One stupid mistake leads to another and you influence the people around you to think that it is absolutely fine to make that same mistake and the cycle will never stop.
I will have to stress on the fact that there is a stark difference between inspire and influence. Don’t believe me?
Check Dictionary.com
I have always believed in the fact that you should be inspired by someone and do good with your life till someone else gets inspired by you. Only then will there be a positive cycle. You can call me idealistic for all I care, at least I know I am trying to do some good in this world. What about you?
Who inspires you and who do you want to inspire?
Love and light xx.
