5. Tokyo To Osaka
In the summer of 09, 13 cyclists from L.A., New York, and San Francisco took their rides to the Land of the Rising Sun for a 350-mile tour from Tokyo to Osaka. Ride along and watch…
The film included the mechanical problems and injuries and the amazing new friendships that made while cycling.
Their forthcoming film is titled "Tokyo to Osaka".
4. She Got Game
Remember how four years ago in Turin, Italy, Jacobellis blew a gold medal when she attempted a trick on her final jump, eating snow and finishing second?
Well, on Tuesday, she finished, clutching her board during the final jump of her disqualified run, finishing her eventually fifth-place with something called a "truck-driver grab."(sound from Jacobellis’ unforgettable silver from NBC site)
The world's most decorated female snowboard cross racer fails to win a gold medal twice in two Olympics and still insists on showing everyone she's having fun? She got game…
3. Human Chain
A great collabo between technology and sports. Nike has launched "Human Chain", an ad celebrating the place of perseverance in athletics.
The theme is…the road to athletic greatness is not marked by perfection, but the ability to constantly overcome adversity and failure. True dat.
2. Snow Ball - ing!
There was time when Olympic athletes competed for the glory of their country. That was a long time ago…According to Forbes, the top-earning athletes competing in the Vancouver Olympics are U.S. snowboarder Shaun White and South Korean figure skater Kim Yu-Na, both of whom made $8 million in 2009.
Third on the list was U.S. skier Lindsey Vonn ($3 million), finally…I mentioned her name so I got to show this video…
Remember Olympic athletes we ain’t mad at you.
1. The Real Showtime
There’s a new book about the General Manager (at the time) "Jerry West: The Life and Legend of a Basketball Icon."and return to the locker room for his postgame interviews."
"The team's locker room, and its sauna, had been a place where players entertained women, right after games," "Johnson would retire to the sauna after a game, have sex, then put on a robe
When asked about the sexual activities around the team…West's response:
"I cared. I did things for those guys. It was ridiculous, some of the things I did for those guys. If the public knew, they'd be outraged. It was a pretty crazy period for us."
Remember sex and golf are the two things you can enjoy even if you’re not good at them. Preach Tiger!
